Summary
Global food systems are under increasing pressure to deliver affordable, nutritious, and environmentally sustainable protein for a growing population. At the same time, conventional agriculture systems are contributing significantly to greenhouse gas emissions, land degradation, and ecosystem decline. Regenerative Agriculture offers a promising pathway to restore soil health and improve ecosystem services, enhance climate resilience across supply chains, reduce environmental footprints of protein production, and strengthen farmer livelihoods and rural economies. However, translating regenerative principles into scalable, market-driven protein value chains remains a key challenge.
