Reflections On COP30 - Food Systems And Alt Proteins

Summary

We caught up with three COP30 attendees - Stephanie from France, Germano from Brazil, and Chiyedza from Zimbabwe - to hear their thoughts on the progress of food systems transformation and the role of alt proteins. Stephanie attended with the intent at the high level of holding governments accountable to their promises, and at the grassroots level of mobilizing support to transition the food system. Germano attended with the intent to share the status of progress in his home state of Paraná, Brazil and make the case for the need for more biotech infrastructure in the Global South.
